OUR DECLARATION

We are Germany’s leading presentation company.

Whether for global players, hidden champions, mid-sized companies or individuals – since 2004, we have successfully implemented over 3,000 projects with more than 500 customers. Customer satisfaction is the least we want to achieve. We want to inspire you! That is why we don’t rely on textbooks but develop our own methods and tools and constantly improve them.

EXPLAIN WHY

We believe that great presentations will move people, companies, and markets.

If the content is meaningful, the slides engaging and the speaker’s delivery impressive, then you get a great presentation.  Its effect on an audience is unmistakable. No other means of communication can reach people like that. We make this potential usable for our customers: to move people, companies, and markets.

EXPLAIN HOW

EXPLAIN’S PRESENTORIC MODEL COMBINES RHETORIC, DESIGN AND PERSONALITY.

The EXPLAIN PRESENTORIC MODEL – where traditional rhetoric, innovative design and the individual personalities of the speakers merge into a new school of presenting. Our highly trained employees professionally apply tried and tested methods. We thrive in a creative presentation culture, constantly developing innovations and working intensively with top companies.

EXPLAIN WHAT

We create moving presentations and turn people into successful presenters.

It doesn’t matter if it’s for meeting rooms or large stages – we develop moving presentations for individuals, teams or entire companies. We accompany our customers from the development of goal-oriented concepts through creating unique designs to coaching them on how to use their PowerPoint presentation. We then help our customers to create great presentations independently. We pass on our know-how as part of our EXPLAIN TRAININGS.

THIS IS HOW OUR CUSTOMERS BENEFIT

Effective presentation, more efficient development.

Our customers can move people with great presentations. This means they can provide better leadership and show their employees their vision and strategies. They can improve their brand’s reputation and attract new customers and partners in national and international markets. Finally, we enable our customers to create effective presentations by themselves.

Moving people,
markets and companies

Our vocation is becoming ever clearer: We create great presentations that move people, companies, and markets.

Inspiration in the spotlight

Our
presentation culture

We can only train others to be great presenters if we ourselves are masters of the craft. That’s why we cultivate a lively presentation culture – because nothing shapes a speaker like being on stage. We present in front of audiences almost every day, on stages and in meeting rooms. We use these experiences as inspiration, and have created our own platform – the EXPLAIN STAGE – for dynamic presentation practice. This helps us to gain new insights and develop even further.

Get to know us

Crew

At EXPLAIN, we all share the same passion: To create great presentations and share our knowledge with others. We are a group of unique individuals whose talents enrich our culture – but above all, we are a crew that pulls together and gives everything for our customers. Find out more about us.

Partnerships

Of the many lessons we learned during our start-up period, the need for advice and supporters was among the most important. That’s why we pass our knowledge and experience on to others. It’s why we get involved with start-ups, teach at educational institutions, and cooperate with companies who benefit from our expertise. In doing so, we learn more about ourselves each day.

Commitment

As a Karlsruhe company, the future of technology is important to us. We sponsor CyberForum (Europe’s largest IT network) to promote young tech companies, and we support these companies with pitch training. To promote entrepreneurship, we organize the DHBW Karlsruhe’s open day. We also help various speakers – for example at TEDx Events where we are sponsoring partners.

Teaching

At Germany’s only institute for rhetoric (the Eberhard Karls University in Tübingen), our presentation specialists inspire students to try new ways of presenting. Since 2014, EXPLAIN Client Director Florian Bernard has been a lecturer at DHBW Ravensburg, teaching a module called presentation competences. Every year at the Hasso-Plattner-Institute in Potsdam, we train bachelor students for their final presentation. Meanwhile, our courses at the Karlshochschule help make students ready for their studies and their professional careers.

Cooperation

We work with Frank Asmus, who coached Apple employees and was described by Focus Magazine as a “guru and executive coach for excellent presentations.” Germany’s leading company for presentation and PowerPoint management software relies on our expertise in advising its customers. When it comes to working more productively with PowerPoint, we have the know-how and we love to share it.

For a new presentation culture

Partnership
with Tübingen University

What better way to make a lasting impact on Germany’s presentation culture than to fuse past and present? In a forward-looking cooperation between EXPLAIN and Eberhart Karls University Tübingen, we’re combining over 500 years of accumulated knowledge about rhetoric with cutting-edge presentation tactics. Together with the Research Centre for Presentation Competence, we examine how the “old school” field of rhetoric can make today’s presentations better. We also explore how to make these findings useful for our customers. In return, our experienced presentation experts give seminars at the university.
